Also when I'm connected to my iMac I now have two phones popping up in my devices as if they're completely separate phones. First being that my sim card no longer worked on the device, & also that both my serial and IMEI numbers were no longer the same as before.
Upon returning home, once I started to set the phone back up and reinserted my sim card I started to notice some weird things. I got the phone back in less than an hour and everything appeared to check out so I left & went about my day. My phone was under AppleCare+ so the whole process was pretty seamless & pleasant. So I damaged the back of my 12 Pro Max & brought it into apple for repair.
